After you've created a new Travel Pattern and added a Stop Pattern, which includes all timepoint and non-timepoint stops that the bus will serve, you can now add a new Timed Pattern. This option is shown to the right of the stop pattern, and associates a stop pattern with specific timepoints as well as designations for pick up/drop-off and directional headsigns if applicable.
A timed pattern is associated with a specific travel pattern and lays out consistent timings used between stops but does not initially show a start time. Rather, all timed patterns begin at 00:00:00 with timepoints added based on how many minutes travel it is to that specific stop. In the following example, the afternoon pattern takes 15 minutes to complete with timepoints at 2 minutes and 7 minutes respectively.
To view how this timed pattern will operate starting at a specific time, simply change the "Show times with offset," which in this case has been shown at 2:00pm (14:00:00). As you can see the timepoints throughout the timed pattern now reflect the specific start time. Once you have completed adding stop times, pick up/drop-off designations, and stop headsigns just click save and this timed pattern is now ready to be assigned to schedules.
