Edit a Fare and/or Fare Rule

Fares can be edited by selecting the Fare's name from the Fare Dashboard.

Adding/Subtracting Rider Categories

Rider Categories can be set from the Rider Categories menu. Adding or subtracting a Rider Category affects all Fares. There is no way to have different Rider Categories for different Fares, only different costs.

Editing a Fare Rule

Fare Rules can be added or deleted or edited, depending on the changes needed. If editing the Fare Rule instead of creating a new one, make sure the Fare Rule does not copy an existing Fare Rule, especially if using Fare Zones and Reversible is employed.

It is a good idea to review all Fares and Fare Rules after editing to ensure that all Routes, Stop Zone combinations, and other attributes of an agency's Fares are accurately represented.
